Reservations & registration
Picnic shelters
Reservable up to twelve months ahead. Unreserved shelters are first come, first served — a reservation receipt is the only way to claim one.
Athletic fields
Leagues reserve seasonally in January and July. Individual field time opens two weeks out.
Programs & classes
Registration opens three weeks before each session. Financial assistance is available and the application is one page.
Special events
Anything with amplified sound, vendors, or more than fifty people needs a special event permit — start sixty days out.
Accessibility in the parks
Accessible playgrounds, firm-surface trails, accessible fishing platforms and accessible restrooms are marked on every listing. If a barrier is blocking you from using a park, report it — barrier removal requests are tracked and prioritized like any other work order, and the City will tell you the plan.
